UL Labels

Rippedsheets.com is part of the UL authorized label suppliers program and is permitted to print UL labels in all four color process. Our labels are UL 969 approved. The UL mark and the UR mark are registered trademarks of Undewriters Laboratories and are tightly controlled thereby in order to ensure the highest quality and safety. Specific rules and regulations must be adhered to.

All orders must have a PO – which can be the PO generated on this site and all shipments must go only to the listed shipping address on the PO. UL labels can only be sent to the end use user and not sent to another third party and forwarded on.  For the most common Type R labels, the artwork – which can be the proof generated on this site – must be submitted to UL for approval and the production of a stamped A-Order form which we will need to have on file. These same forms may be used to place reorders in the future.

Type L marks work a bit differently and have more specific requirements. The artwork or layout will be submitted to UL and the serial numbers will be provided to us and only those serial numbers approved by UL may be printed. These numbers will be presented on the A-Order form. When placing a reorder the previous A-Order form may be submitted and the serial numbers continued from the ending number listed on the prior A-Order form.

UL marks can only be applied to UL approved products and components. We will need a page from your UL books stating that the product you are applying these labels to are, indeed, UL approved. To read further on the requirements of UL printing, please visit the UL website under Certification marks.
