Type R Labels

Type R markings are the most common and basic type of UL markings. These include the UL label and a few required bits on information including the product identification and list number. They may have the company logo on them as well as the company’s list number with UL. Artwork, which may be the proof produced on this site may be submitted to UL for approval and an A-Order form may be produced. Rippedsheets.com is approved to print Type R markings.

102250 is a white matte 2.3 mil polyester label with a 1.1 mil acrylic permanent self adhesive. It is UL approved material and very durable. The facestock is resistant to degradation from scuffing, chemicals, and wide temperature fluctuations.  The adhesive bonds to high and low energy plastic surfaces, textured, and contoured surfaces, powder coatings, and slightly oily metals. This material is adaptable to many surfaces with a minimum application temperature of 50°F and a service range of -40°F to 302°F.

102260 is a gray matte 2 mil polyester with an acrylic permanent self adhesive. It is a UL Recognized component under the category of marking and labeling systems PGJI2 printing materials. The facestock is matte topcoated gray and resists degradation from scuffing, chemicals, and wide temperature fluctuations. The self adhesive bonds to high and low energy plastic surfaces and slightly oily metals. The adhesive has excellent resistance to chemicals even at high temperatures and is adaptable to many surfaces with a minimum application temperature of 50°F and a service rang of -40°F to 302°F.

102270 is a satin gloss polyester label that has a 0.8 mil acrylic permanent self adhesive. It is UL approved under PGJI2 printing materials – component. This material has also been found RoHS compliant. The facestock is resistant to degradation from scuffing, chemicals, and wide temperature fluctuations. The self adhesive bonds to both high and low energy plastic surfaces, slightly oily metals, and polyester powder coat paints. The clear acrylic adhesive has a higher resistance to chemicals even at high temperatures.
